Tags are a new feature in Conover Online that will allow you to easily search, sort and filter out your list of users. Think of tags as mini descriptions. Tags can be a class name, period, year, teacher name, etc. Each account can have multiple tags allowing you to efficiently group all of your users.

The tag manager is a location where you can view, add, edit or delete your tags. You can find the tag manager on your how screen. Select the Tags button to access the tag manager. The tag manager will list all of your tags as well as how many user are using each tag.
If you want to add a new tag, select the Add new tag button.
From the window that appears, enter your new tag. Select Create Tag to save your tag
The tag will now appear and you can now use it with any of your accounts. To edit or delete a tag, select the tag from the list.
This will bring up the options to update or delete the tag. Deleting a tag does not delete the user.
The power of the tags is how you can use them to filter and sort your data. Here is a full list of user. You can filter by tags using the tags field.
If you select the Filter by tags field, a list of tags will appear. Select any tag and your list will filter.
You can even add multiple tags.
You can even type and search for a tag.
Tags have also been brought over to reports. You can now search using tags.
You can also add tags to your users when you create their accounts.
You can add multiple tags to each account.
If a tag you want to use does not exist, just type the name and press enter. The tag will be now be available in the system after you save the account.
You can even add tags to accounts that already exist.
You can also assign tags to more that one person at a time. Select any users from the list that you want to tag.
Once you have more than one person selected, the Batch options will become active. Select Tag.
Select the tags you want or make some new tags. Every user you had selected will be given the new tags. Select the Add tags button to make the change.
